AETC Sales Workshop in Haparanda

We know it, you know it: bringing people together still matters. And what a satisfying feeling it is to see what happens when we actually do it!

This week we wrapped up the final Sales Workshop within the Arctic Europe Tourism Cluster project. It felt especially meaningful to celebrate this milestone together with tour operators, tourism companies, partners and colleagues who have all been part of this journey across Arctic Sweden, Finnish Lapland and Arctic Norway.

Over the workshop days:

  • 60 international tour operators met
  • 80 seller companies and it resulted in
  • 1,321 individual B2B meetings

And having all of this happen during a few beautiful early summer days in Haparanda was not bad at all.

Before the workshop, 55 international tour operators joined pre-tours across Arctic Europe, experiencing destinations firsthand, meeting the people behind the products, providing honest feedback and needs, and getting a deeper understanding of the stories that connect our region.
The feedback both from participants and hosts has been very positive and many expressed they will look into adding new products in their products after these trips.
